Poem on the Love of Wisdom

To love wisdom is not to control it 
To love wisdom is to adore it
To love one must in some way understand 

To understand, one must in some way participate with the focus of their gaze
To focus is to be focal in one’s own being 
To be in God is to be - in Love 

To be in God’s Love is to be loved by being
To be loved by being there is a lover, and a beloved, and the love in between 
To exist is to be filled with dignity so God can love you, all of you, simply 

This in a way is divine simplicity 
This in a way is essence and energies 

How can we be in God 
- both grounded, growing, and lifted - 
while also being ourselves into eternity? 

God knows - not philosophy

To love wisdom is not to control Him
The love of God is fundamentally a mystery 
To love God is not to control him, but to be, loved by Him

This is what Philosophy means...some of what it means.

For my reader,
I share these things because I want the very best life for you;
the very best life in Christ.

This is my prayer
and these;
these are my Confessions.
